Aging in Place Residential Design

Design a residence for a retired couple transitioning from city living to a serene hill country location, where they envision building their ideal aging-in-place home that reflects both their diverse styles and cultural influences.

This project will blend traditional American, modern minimalist, and Asian design influences while incorporating thoughtful solutions for client's low vision. The kitchen will be revamped with a professional Italian style, while a Zen garden will reflect client's Korean heritage. The open-concept dining and living area will be designed for stylish hosting, showcasing contemporary and traditional Korean art. Prioritizing eco-friendly, sustainable materials, the design will also incorporate cat-friendly features to ensure harmony for both pets and people.
